Insightful Interview, Not too Miss - Railway Age interview with Matt Rose
Take a minute and read an incredibly insightful, great read. Matt Rose and William Vantuono, with Railway Age, sat down for an interview discussing varying topics including a reflection on Matt Rose's career and talked about the industry’s future.
Matt Rose is an incredible leader that can teach us all something about leading your team to success and having the foresight to think long-term — for the industry. Matt is a strong force that maintains an innovative school of thought.
“We’re going to have to find ways, as an industry, to continue to grow. “In the railroad industry, where strong, focused leadership counts for a whole lot, [he] has led BNSF Railway to new heights,” wrote Railway Age Editor-in-Chief William C. Vantuono in the January 2010 issue.
“One of Matt Rose’s most impressive traits has been the ability to grow,” wrote the late Larry Kaufman, a Railway Age Contributing Editor, in January 2010. “Like good executives in any industry, he thinks long-term—five years and more into the future.”
